ANTI-SLAVERY DAY 2025
In recognition of Anti-Slavery day on Saturday 18th October, we are introducing a new product into our Liberté collection, the Liberté scarf. Crafted from 100% silk, the scarf is inspired by a vintage print, a bold dove in flight meeting the timeless word ‘Liberté'—two powerful symbols united in one striking design. The dove, recognised across cultures as an emblem of peace, soars alongside freedom's promise, reminding us that neither can exist without the other.
Each scarf is crafted by women we've helped rescue from trafficking and exploitation, providing them with dignified employment and a path toward independence. When you wear this piece, you're not just making a statement—you're supporting real freedom.
Modern slavery is a global crisis affecting an estimated 50 million people today. Justice & Care has been on the front lines of this fight for over 15 years, starting in India and now operating worldwide. Their dedicated team works tirelessly to identify and rescue men, women, and children trapped in exploitation. In the UK alone, Justice & Care’s Victim Navigators have supported over 620 survivors with complex needs, leading to the conviction of over 50 exploiters who have received a combined total of 405 years in prison.

Your support through the purchase of a Liberté Scarf could help fund emergency after-care packages for survivors, covering essentials like food, travel, and personal care items to meet their immediate needs. This support is vital; survivors with a dedicated Victim Navigator are significantly more likely to engage with the criminal justice process—more than 90%, compared to just 44% for those without support.
Together, we can make a difference. By wearing the Liberté Scarf, you’re joining our campaign to fight against modern slavery. Together, we can help bring freedom and hope to those who need it most.
