Beulah London and Aspinal of London, have collaborated on a special charity project by creating two limited edition ‘Blue Heart’ clutches, with Beulah’s iconic blue heart print on the exterior and interior linings. These limited edition bags are now on sale and 25% of profits from every bag sale will be donated to the United Nations Blue Heart Campaign.
The Blue Heart Campaign is an awareness raising initiative to fight human trafficking and its impact on society. The Blue Heart logo represents the sadness of those who are trafficked while reminding us of the cold-heartedness of those who buy and sell human beings. The use of the blue UN colour also demonstrates the commitment of the United Nations to combating this crime against human dignity.
In the same way that the red ribbon has become the international symbol of HIV/AIDS awareness, this campaign aims to make the Blue Heart into an international symbol against human trafficking. By “wearing” the Blue Heart clutch, you will raise awareness of human trafficking and join the campaign to fight this crime: these are truly bags with a heart.

We interviewed Mariya Dykalo, Creative Director at Aspinal of London, she worked closely with Beulah co-founders Lavinia and Natasha.
What is your biggest inspiration and why?
My biggest inspiration comes when I travel around the world, observing different cultures, scenes and architecture. I also find that visiting different places in England really surprise and excite me. Often I will learn something new and historic, or I will notice architecture I have never seen before. I love going to the shows at London Fashion Week and checking out the latest creations but also people watching often really inspires me. I love seeing how people dress and what bags they choose to carry. It’s always fun trying to guess what they do for a living based purely on first impressions. I really enjoy chatting to our customers when I visit stores so I can better understand their needs and what they really love about our bags.
What are your aspirations as a businesswoman for the next 5 years?
My aim is always to build a great business, raise my children, have a happy family and still manage a social life. I really admire successful women like Victoria Beckham, Charlotte Olympia and Stella McCartney, who dedicate their life not for their passion but to help other people in life.
What is your favourite quote? “The only way to do great work is to love what you do!”

What is your favourite Beulah piece?
I’m in love with the Painted Lady dress in Renaissance red – elegant, timeless and spot on trend.
How would you describe your style?
I like to make an effort and dress up every day, I do love a glamorous look and long dresses for the evening. My daily work style is comfortable, feminine and always finished with stilettos.
What is your favourite accessory?
One that makes you feel glamorous instantly regardless of the rest of your outfit. It has to be stilettos with a dash of red lipstick.
What do you think of what Beulah stands for and the work it does through the Beulah Trust?
I admire Natasha and Lavinia’s work creating beautiful and sophisticated dresses for ladies, as well as supporting and helping to raise awareness about The Blue Heart Campaign. The Blue Heart campaign fights human trafficking, focusing on rebuilding the lives of women who have been affected. In support, we wanted to create something together with Beulah and Aspinal, which helps raise awareness and funds for The Blue Heart Campaign – this is how the Aspinal X Beulah clutch was born.

Oh, I love them both. The black croc exterior with blue heart interior is super chic and a timeless clutch bag. But I equally adore the second version of the clutch with the blue heart exterior, a great statement that I cannot wait to wear!
